Sarah shared United’s story of transitioning from a local job shop to a global supplier of mission-critical components and made sure to highlight that we use only the best in Japanese machine tools too, Mazak, DMG Mori!

Standing on the shoulders of giants, Sarah presented alongside Rocket Lab, Kea Aerospace, Dawn Aerospace and Kry10.

Japan might seem an odd place for us to promote our services, given its own reputation for outstanding manufacturing. But what we’ve noticed at United Machinists is that globally, there’s a shortage of high-quality machine shops capable of prototyping and low-run production for companies innovating in the aerospace, medical and defence sectors.
